Skills For Care Individual Employer Funding 2022/23 Now Open

Skills For Care are delighted to announce that individual employer funding is now open.

People who employ personal assistants using a social care direct payment from their local authority, a personal health budget from the NHS or their own money (self-funder), can ask for grant funding to pay for learning and development.

Money can pay for the cost of the training for personal assistants to improve their knowledge and skills. It can also be used by individual employers to improve their knowledge and skills as an employer of PAs.

Funding can be granted to cover other costs like hiring or needing a replacement PA whilst their usual PA is attending training during their normal working hours. It can also cover travel costs.

Apply at any time between now and 28 Feb 2023 for funding for training that starts before 31 March 2023.
