New Infection Prevention Network Launched For Social Care
The Queen’s Nursing Institute, supported by the Chief Nurse for Adult Social Care, Deborah Sturdy OBE, and with a a grant from the Department for Health and Social Care, are launching a new network of Adult Social Care Infection Prevention Champions on the 30th November.
The goal of the network is to share lessons learned from the pandemic and best practice for infection prevention, and it will be made up of frontline adult social care staff from across England who are responsible for Infection Prevention Control in their settings. It will involve a newsletter, virtual meetings, and a discussion forum.
