Market Context
The Trauma Informed Service: Support to Adults Facing Homelessness and Multiple Exclusions in Somerset is a new commission that will take place during 2025/26 to bring together a service that is currently being commissioned by Adult Social Care that focusses on adults with comorbidities of mental-ill heath, substance misuse and homelessness, with support that has been previously commissioned by housing services.
A key aspect of this service will be to use trauma informed approaches to support adults in their recovery and to build and maintain independence.
We have published a Preliminary market engagement notice as required by the Procurement Act (2023) and will add links to further notices as the procurement process progresses.
The new service will be required to commence operation on 01/04/2026
