Provider Forums

We arrange regular provider forums to engage with providers operating in our local market, with the intention of providing opportunities to work collaboratively, rather than these being meetings purely focused on sharing information and answering questions – although we appreciate that there is always likely to be an element of this.

Following on from the Council’s budget being set we have confirmed our uplift offer for 2026/27 to care and support provides which is detailed here. Where someone’s needs have changed this will be looked at in the normal way as these uplifts only relate to inflation.

We will be holding two provider forums on 21/04/2026 (PM) and 22/04/2026 (AM) which will include a briefing for providers on inflationary uplifts for 2026/27 and Somerset Council’s position for 2026/27.
